What are the symptoms of liver cancer?

Liver cancer may not cause any signs or symptoms in its early stages.

For the liver has the ability to function normally even with a large tumor. Signs and symptoms often appear once the tumor grows and causes changes in the body, that’s to say at the end stage.

Here are liver cancer symptoms:

In its early stages:

  • Losing weight
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Fatigue

In the end stage :

  • Abdominal pain and swelling
  • Yellow discoloration of the skin and the whites of the eyes
  • White, chalky stools

If you notice any of these symptoms, go to see a doctor! Cancer might be diagnosed earlier, when treatment is most likely to be helpful.
